I recently purchased an Orange Pi 5 development board and was very impressed by its features, quality, and price. I needed a versatile enclosure for my projects that offered different mounting options and efficient cooling. This design also accommodates the new Orange Pi 5B development board which adds onboard WiFi & BLE capability .
The OPI5 case protects and offers a variety of mounting scenarios. The 3D printed case is light, strong, and is easily incorporated into the user's project.
1 - Case bottom with captive M3 brass inserts.
1 - Case top with captive M3 mounting nuts for the 4010 DC fan.
1 - Fan cover (finger guard) for the 4010 DC fan.
1 - 4010 5V DC fan with 2 pin connector.
2 - Vertical mounting legs.
2 - Thumb screws to attach mounting legs to the case.
4 - M3 x 18mm flat head screws for fan mounting.
4 - M2.2 x 8mm self-tapping screws for OPI5 PCB mounting.
4 - M3 x 16mm pan head screws for enclosure mounting.
1 - M3 x 6mm screw, nut, and plastic washers for mounting an NVME SSD board.
5 - Silicon stick-on pads.
1 - 14x14x8mm aluminum CPU heatsink with self adhesive heat transfer pad.
1 - Recovery/maskrom switch plunger.
Colors choices are a mix of black and orange. Other color combinations are possible - please ask.
The 5V DC fan is designed to plug into the OPI5 26 pin GPIO header. The RED wire should connect to pin 4, the BLACK (or black/red) wire should connect to pin 6. Also see product photos for connector orientation.
