Designed by David Johnson-Davies the Tiny Time Watch is a novel ATTINY85-20SU powered watch using 12 white or red LEDs, arranged like a clock face, to show the time analogue-style using a CR2032 battery. Two LEDs show the time; one LED lights to show the hour while the other LED flashes to indicate the minutes. One LED lighting up indicates both LEDs are pointing to the same hour mark. So for instance if you see one LED steadily glowing at the 6 position you would know it is 6:30PM. The Tiny Time Watch uses the ATtiny85's built-in oscillator, fine-tuned to get it as accurate as possible, and the watch keeps time to within a couple of minutes over 24 hours. NOTICE: CR2032 battery IS included, strap or wristband NOT included with the watch. You can find 12MM watchbands for sale on the internet.
I read a post on David Johnson-Davies Arduino and AVR projects blog and immediately fell in love with this little watch. I ordered all the tiny SMT components I needed to make one and it turned out so nice I thought I'd go ahead share them with my fellow electronic enthusiasts here on Tindie if they wanted one for themselves. Wearing one of these on your wrist to a makerspace meeting should be fun!
I'm just your average electronic hobbyist making things I find fun and useful and I like to share the things I make with men and women who also find these things fun and useful. I hand assemble each watch and reflow solder them in my Toast-R-Reflow oven here at my little one bedroom apartment home/workshop in Austin Texas.

Things that get my attention are wireless weather sensors, clocks, lamps, motion activated devices, light activated devices, laser intruder alert systems, solar and wind power, voltage inversion and lots more. I was lucky enough to be born in 1957 which has allowed me to watch so much history as the years have passed. The NASA space program in the 1960s was so unbelievably exciting as they worked towards the goal of putting a man on the moon.
