When building a prototype, you might be aware of the different power/voltage level between two parts/modules/platforms. To avoid any damages, connecting with the adequate power and signal level is essential. That's why the level-shifter is needed for some prototype design cases.
This level shifter board is designed for the Breakout Board of WISOL Module for SIGFOX Network, and of course, can be used for any demand of adjusting power/signal level between 5V and 3V3 domains. Features with ... (1) One onboard 5V-to-3V3 LDO - Input 5V source to output 3V3 power for the connected sub-system. (2) Up to three bidirectional I/O ports - Adjust the I/O between 5V and 3V3 domains. (3) Distance between two 2x5-2.54mm pin header is fit for the use on breadboard.
To make it easier to understand, here is one illustration to show the way to connect the 3.3V-Powered WISOL breakout board to any 5V-powered development platforms, like Arduino UNO and MEGA.
