This is a breakout board for a pair of RT314F05 bistable 2-coil latching relays.
A latching relay is different from a regular relay in that a continuous current is not required for the relay to maintain its state. You only need a pulse to set the relay, and another pulse to unset it. Thus, the amount of energy required is minimized.
This is useful in situations where you are trying to reduce the overall power consumption, such as reducing standby power of a smart outlet, for instance.
There are many regular relay breakout boards on the market, but very few, if any, latching relays, especially ones that can handle larger currents. I was using latching relays in the "BuffI the Ampere Slayer" Smart Outlet project that I led (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LzQakUzzlg4&t=352s), and decided to make a breakout board of it for others who were also interested in Latching Relays.
