This is a Quick connect and release hose clamp with large active surface area that allows for low clamp (squeeze) pressure. Great for anyone needing to QUICKLY secure and release common hose. Also the clamp pressure is adjustable, just don't use more clamp pressure than is needed to secure the hose pressure.
In my business of importing, modifying, selling and repairing Plasma Cutters & TIG welders based upon Inverter Technology. (Notice how I subliminally advertised my main products)... I got tired of dealing with the slow and annoying process of securing the machine air hoses at our product test stations. I needed to be able to quickly secure the air hose reliably to handle 70 psi pressure and just as quickly release when tests are finished. So... I decided to spend a little time to design a hose clamp to meet my demands... and it turned out great!
No more finding a screw driver and meticulously tightening the screw clamp only to find it's not tight enough and having to re-tighten only to find it required much more than thought was needed and in some cases eventually strip the threads. Arrrgh! #%$^&*@
This design provides much more clamp surface area, that allows minimal stress on the clamp itself and easy clamp and release.
It works great!

After you purchase the item we will receive an email from Tindie of your order and will use your email address to send you an internet link to download the file to your computer. Procedure: 1) Buy the item 2) You will receive an email from TheShopDog with clickable link to download the compressed .zip file. 3) Click the download link, download the .zip file to your computer's download folder. 4) Locate the file in your download folder and extract it to a folder of your choice. The extracted file will include documents, images, and files that you will load into a 3D file Slicer application (Repetier Host, Slic3r, Cura, etc) of your choice. 5) After you slice the file and examine the simulated result you can save the generated GCode to a GCode file that is specific to your 3D printer. Note: You can alter various slicer settings until you are satisfied with the simulated result... before saving or running the GCode that was produced. 6) If you are unsure as to how to print the file refer to operating instruction specific to your 3D printer. Optionally, if you do not have a 3D printer you can locate a 3D printing service on the Internet to have it printed and shipped to you.

Extensive experience in...
Electronics... troubleshooting equipment to the component level, designing hardware and software (multiple languages), micro controllers, bla, bla, bla.
To sum it all up one could say I'm interested in anything technical and left over from a bygone era when virtually everyone associated the word electronics to something other than what is bought from Wal-Mart in a box or hanging on a shelf in a blister pack.
More specifically my company (since 2004) imports, sells, services, repairs (to the component level) Plasma Cutters, Plasma/TIG/Stick welding combination equipment based on Inverter Technology. Check us out at www.parkermetalworking.com
I have become very interested in 3D printing.
I am currently working on various projects and always seeking people of like mind to collaborate with. Feel free to call. Contact info can be found on my company website listed above.
