With the included motor and propeller combo, payload capacity is at least 300g and top forward speed can reach 50kph! Multiple configuration options (250mm 'X' and 290mm 'Spread Eagle') ensure that your project will fit. And if you need a little fun in the lab, take full control with a transmitter/receiver option of your making or choice (not included).
There is a need for a small yet powerful platform to experiment with radio and algorithmic control of robotics in 3D space. Plus, quadcopters are way more fun than helium balloons. ALL robotics projects are 20% more awesome when airborne, guaranteed.

The frame of this multicopter is of original design and 100% 3D printable, which means parts are easily, locally, and inexpensively replaced. Because the frame and body are printed in an organic plastic (PLA), broken frames can be returned for a discount on new parts, can be recycled, or can be composted. If you find that you need custom mounting options, or custom colours, please don't hesitate to ask. Custom UAVs/robotics platforms can be designed and built to your requirement. We can find a way to make it happen.

I have been 3D printing for a short time. I initially began my foray into electronics and 3D printing with a Raspberry Pi workshop attended with my son. Together we built a web-interfaced rover tank that could stream video via wifi.
Since then I have been playing reindeer games with flying robots, quadcopters and drones.
I am looking forward to developing my work into something that will help people learn, or help those in need of emergency assistance.
