This is a motorcycle turn signal flasher relay. It is completely electronic, operates on both 6V and 12V systems, and works with LEDs and standard incandescent bulbs while blinking at a constant rate no matter what voltage, bulb type, or external temperature.
I made this flash relay because I was tired of having non reliable turn signals. I enjoy restoring old bikes, and I have not yet come across a vintage bike that has a thermal style turn signal relay that still works. I designed this unit to plug directly into the existing wiring without any further modification, regardless of whether or not it is a 6 or 12 volt bike, or if you are running LEDs or standard incandescent bulbs in your turn signals.
In addition to working on both 6 and 12 volt systems, and working with both LEDs and incandescent bulbs, this unit is the same size and shape as a standard blade fuse, so it can be inserted into a fuse block or holder if your bike has been retrofitted to use one. Otherwise, the original spade connectors will slide right onto this board's terminals.
