Simple navigation keypad with a central 5-way joystick and two (left and right) buttons. Can be used on a breadboard or integrated into your own PCB.
PCB with optional components to solder. Fun and useful for both beginners and gurus.
I needed one but could not find it readily available. Besides I just like writing software and learning new things.
Highly usable yet simple to program and add to your project. The referenced sample Arduino code requires knowledge of C++. Yet the keyboard should be easy to use with any micro processor.
|1||VCC||Voltage supply. Anywhere between 2.5V to 6V. Connect to VCC of your controller.|
|2||SDA||Serial data line.|
|3||SCL||Serial clock line.|
|4||INT||Interrupt output, low level, generated when key is pressed.|
Use the pads to set the peripheral I2C address as described in the datasheet
