I have been using the V2 versions with Tiva and CC3200 LaunchPads and have recently purchased 2 of the V3 Booster Packs. Where can I find the V3 Schematic?

I have used this LCD module with a TIVA Launchpad and a CC3200 Launchpad. The PCB hosting the LCD module is very nicely laid out. It features some solder jumpers for IO selection and an optional control of the backlight. I had to look around the TIVO and MSP430 forums to find the documentation (schematics of the board, data sheet for the LCD controller IC and a TIVA library) It would be nice to have a link from the product page to a ZIP file containing all of this.

Once he posted the schematic it all came together and worked well. A BOM would be nice if we would like to use the LCD in another design on a custom board, but it works well for what it's purpose is.

I am using this Boosterpack on my Autonomous Rover with a Stellaris/Tiva Launchpad. Needed something to print out some information (like GPS heading and such), as well as a good way to log data.

The ILI9341 (or whatever variant it really is ;-)) is pretty standard, and my own code ported to it within minutes. The microSD slot worked also pretty much right out of the box, and 20MHz SPI rate. Using similar setup, I was only able to get 13MHz before due to noise issues.

I did crash one of those units just 6 days before a competition, and RobG got one to me within 3 days !!!!

Downsides ? None really. The TFT and microSD share a common SPI bus, so coding to that get's a tad tricky with an RTOS. The pinout is reasonable, and at least for me did not cause any conflicts that I could not work around. Both not really a downside, just something to consider beforehand, rather than being surprised later on.

I like the hardware, good value for the price, but I need schematic, board layout and BOM to use it. Still looking for those.

1: This does require assembly of the 2 connectors onto the PCB (soldering iron and solder heh)
2: It is wise to read the directions first and procure the schematic (ahem) which I found very useful
3: be sure to download the demo from http://forum.43oh.com/topic/1956-universal-color-lcd-graphics-library/#entry16849 as well to examine how to use it effectively.
4: look for which launch pad you are using
5: demo code works as is with MSP-EXP430F5529lp with proper switches toggled
6: be sure the other CS inputs (apart from the LCD) do not conflict with other booster packs if you plan to share these.
7: Care should be taken when removing the display from a launch pad due to the connectors fingers tend to suddenly release they can bend the headers (hence care)

The good side of this is, you don't need to get an SD card connector etc. which can make quick experiments significantly less painful. The only down side is a bit of soldering, if you don't have the tools handy that is (most people do/ should if experimenting). Honestly the board alone saved me a whole lot of fooling around so it was all good for me.
Value wise, I recomend looking around for the TIANMA TM022HDH26 (the LCD on this) this board is very economically priced with this particular LCD, and the creator has done a fairly good job on layout and design. All I can say "keep making boards like this and I'll not need to make as many of my own."
Use wise, do consider that the speed of the bus is limited. The driver IC is the ILI9340, the top write communication rate is 15mbps and read rate is 6.6mbps. For the vast majority of what people do that should be sufficiently fast (unless you are doing real time video .. somehow).
From a 1-5 I give it a 5, does everything I need works without issue and the creator will give you information if you ask.
