I designed a system of SMD tape holders that is perfectly adjustable for your and my needs when we are doing hand pick and place tasks.
These in combination with a cheap vacuum pump for pick and place work will make your live so much easier. You might have seen V1.0 before in my shop. They have hooks that grab into the next holder and that way they form a nice and straight row of SMD holders. But there is no good way of attaching them to your working surface, except with double sided tape. I wanted to solve this issue and created version 2.0: This Version is as compact as it can be and features the real ability to easily add or remove specific SMD tape holders from your workbench.
The trick is that each of them has Velcro tape hooks on the bottom side that attach to the two fluffy self-adhesive Velcro strips that attached to your workbench or a small board to make it portable! These strips can be left on the workbench without any problems, due to the soft fluffiness ;-) In addition the size and thickness type is printed onto the SMD tape holder so that you can easily identify it without a hassle.
The tape holders are designed and printed right here in Germany by myself. The standard length is 60mm. If you want for some reason another length, size or color, please contact me. They will get cheaper, if you buy more!
There are two different types for the same SMD tape size. The reason is that tapes come in two different kinds. One is made out of paper and is relatively thick. It is used most often for resistors, capacitors or some other small parts like that. The other kind of tape is made out of plastic and is much thinner than the paper kind. I have just seen the paper kind for 8mm tapes, but made options for the greater sizes too, just in case. If you put a plastic tape in a SMD tape holder for paper tapes it might happen that the plastic tape has too much space and starts to act as a spring that shoots out your small SMD parts and we don't want that to happen ^^
You can order with and without the Velcro feature. One good reason could be if you want to attach the SMD tape holder solid to a surface with the help of double sided tape.
If you order with the Velcro option I will send by default the correct amount of fluffy tape with it. (Total width of all SMD Tape holder * 2 + some extra)
The width of the holder is roughly the upper values + 2mm
Please be aware that I do not reship for free or refund, if you choose the cheaper shipping method. It only rarely happens that something gets lost, but I just wanted to note this :-)

Deutsche Post: Priority Mail no tracking/ no insurance
Fixed low cost priority mail price, It doesn't matter how many you order! This is the cheapest world wide option I can offer and for a bigger package like this one it is a quite good price I would say. The only downside is that there is no tracking or insurance, with that it would get more expensive. If you want to have more control over you packet and willing to pay more, just use the other option. I will not refund or reship for free with this option.
Deutsche Post: WithTracking Code Priority Mail with tracking and seller insurance
Fixed low cost priority mail price, It doesn't matter how many you order! This is the cheapest world wide option I can offer while giving tracking information and for a bigger package like this one it is a quite good price I would say.
