• Basic soldering is required to assemble the board using all through-hole parts
• Load the prebuilt Aurora software on the Teensy 3.1 to play patterns and animated GIFs with no programming or Arduino experience required
• The remote control lets you easily choose an animation or pattern to display, and change options like the color palette.
• All libraries and sketches are Open Source so you can customize and add your own functionality using the Arduino IDE
• Expansion port brings Teensy 3.1's free pins out to edges of board (UART, SPI, I2C, ADC/DAC)

• 8 inch (203mm) square sheet of specialty lighting acrylic to diffuse the LEDs and improve the look of the display

• The acrylic sheet and paperboard backing are designed to fit in 8 inch square shadow box frames available from several manufacturers (not included), or can be used to mount the panel in a custom enclosure.
