This enclosure is designed to take a 20x4 LCD panel and an Arduino Uno or Mega with or without the W5100 LAN Shield (see the pictures) the space inside is a bit more restrictd with the LAN Shield in place. The enclosure works with the popular 20x4 LCD module often listed as 60mmx98mm or 60mmx99mm. The cutout size is 97.3mmx40.2mm and the 4mm diamter hole pitch is 93mmx55mm which suits most of the modules on ebay but please check first. The Arduino board bolts to the back plate of the enclosure which is in turn securely retained in the enclosure by a a sliding latch (see pictures). The enclosure is currently listed in white and black but other colours red green blue yellow are available including fluorescent transparent ie green and orange just send a message to inquire on availability.
As the photos show the power and USB connectors of the UNO or Mega come out to the side of the enclosure. The bolts used are all 3mm A2 stainless with a 2mm dome Hex key head.
The enclosure is supplied flat and you assemble it your self, it is designed to stay together with friction interference fit, however small amounts of cynoacrylate can be used for a very strong joint.
Not if any of the cynoacrylate (super glue) gets where you don't want it wipe it away so it is as this thin as possible, then you can use a nail varnish removing wipe to remove the residue leaving the perspex with a lovely shine.
Any questions let us know and of course if you want to put you own scratch built PCB in just select the option without cutouts.
Note when you make a selection with the LAN Shield cutouts the picture only reflect the colour you have selected don't worry you will get the right cutouts and yes it includes the fitting kit.
