JasonKits Proudly presents the latest Improved DIGITAL charge controller.
The Tiny charge controller is based around an 8Bit RISC microcomputer which includes a 16x2 LCD display to show the status of the battery state, voltage, and current reading. A keypad is also included which is used to setup controller parameters such as low limit High limit, current sensor type.
As the controller can measure the Voltage and Current in real time and display them on the LCD. The controller is easy to setup and use. The display shows also the state of the controller which are : CHG for charging state , FLT for Float state. It also displays battery health : Battery Low, Battery Normal , Battery Full. The controller uses minimum current to manage the LCD back light. The back light fades to a minimum after 2 minutes. A button can restore maximum back light which dims back to a minimum to minimize energy consumption.
The controller Keypad can be used to set-up the controller
Shows voltage , current, Battery State, controller state, charge capacity.
Current : Displays currents up to 200 Amp Voltage : Displays Battery Voltage 12 volts or 24 volts. Lcd Back light circuit fades to a minimum to save energy. Power Mosfet 9 Amp to switch a power relay to change state charge/Float Has built in state thresholds. No-Batt, Batt-low, Batt-Normal, Batt-Full Displays voltage , Current , Charge , Charge state.
Setup mode feature
1 : Calibrate the voltage on the LCD 2 : Set the current sensor type Off,30,50.100,150,200 Amp 3 : Set low threshold Nominal - 11.90v for 12 volts mode 4 : Set high threshold Nominal - 14.90V for 12 volts mode 5 : Restore defaults 6: Save Parameters store in memory
