One step is a stepper driver board expander. It accepts the AA4498 and DRV8825 stepper drivers sub boards.
The board is designed as an easy way to add more stepper drivers to your 3D printer and other electronics. It can also be used to repair or patch-up boards where the stepper driver chip is SMD soldered on the board like Melzi, Printrboard and so on...
You can add another motor or stepper to your setup while converting the 3d printer to use a diamond hot-end.
One step uses standard ramps aux plug connections with two fuses and inline plugs.
The board uses double sided technology to minimise noise, and stability is excellent. Uses a standard IDE 10 IDC pin connector from a ramps board and the out is terminated on a 4 pin plug for the stepper motor.
