The board will allow an AC input of max 40v and step it down to the voltage according to the chip installed. The board can be used with 3.3v ,5.0v, 12v, 15v version of the chip. This chip can handle currents up to 3 Amp.
Most boards available on the Net do not offer AC rectification and I needed this feature in my design. The board has an on board bridge rectifier together with the smoothing capacitors.
It uses the well known LM2576-5.0 OR LM2576-12 step down buck converter and it accepts a standard 5.0mm terminal screw connector for both input and output.
Very easy to setup. Accepts a wide voltage range 14v to 40v Input. Output is stable 5.0V OR 12V @ 3Amp. SMD parts for slick low profile. Easy to solder parts.
Supplied as a kit or Ready Assembled .
