What is it?
joins two filaments together by melting both ends on an aluminium block , the controller can control the heat of the block to the desired temperature and keep it ..
Why did you make it?
I made my own since there is none on the net !
What makes it special?
the filament fuser can be controlled by setting the desired temperature, the controller will take care to reach and keep the temperature, As a safety feature the controller can be switched off when the temperature is set less than 10.
Uses common heater - and aluminium block .. temperatures are displayed on lcd .. PID control of temperatures ..
Now with PID auto tune mode / Normal / Aggressive modes
Set point control pot range from 0 to 300 degrees Heater control via PID ..
Set point range 0 - 10 : Switches Heater off ... In line - Poly Fuse 5Amp
Supplied with all parts to build the pid controller - heater and sensor excluded
