This housing has been the top seller within the scientific community for good reasons: it is the most cost effective solution to get visual data at extreme depth. Its overall compactness is non-intrusive to wildlife.
Benthic 3 is also used in manned submersibles, UUV, ROV, and BRU. The Benthic 3 housing can be drilled to accept a waterproof connector.
Professional filmmakers and engineers are using the Benthic to get footage that would otherwise destroy your action camera. Fishermen and marine archeologists are finally able to see what is below the water cost-effectively.

I started GroupBinc.com as a result of people asking about how I shot my videos on my youtube channel (Frank Abyss).
About 2 years ago, I tried to lower my POV cameras into water with a fishing rod/reel or a rope and quickly discovered that the camera would spin. So I set out to design a stabilizing system that would make the camera track straight underwater, taking a predictable path. I went through a dozen of designs, modifying this and that, and tested several materials. What you see here is the culmination of this extensive testing.
The second item is a specialized underwater housing for action camera cameras. I wanted to go far beyond the limited depth of the original OEM case (only 200ft). Once again, I tested several designs and materials and finally arrived at this current version.
We have more patent-pending products on the way, so stay tuned!
