As with just about everything else we manufacture, we start with an aluminum billet that is carved out with a CNC machine. This process, while much more time consuming, results in a precisely built mount that is extremely tough. So if you find yourself filming extreme scenes where your equipment will take a beating just to get that "one shot", this is the mount you want.
This mount allows the Scout/Benthic/Abysso housing to be rotated 360 degrees as well as adjusted up and down to get the perfect shooting angle. The square base of the mount is 2.5" x 2.5" (6.2cm x 6.2cm) and has been drilled in all four corners. Use these holes to secure the mount with screws to whatever surface you are going to use.
The mount is fully anodized to resist corrosion. All screws and washers are stainless steel.

I started GroupBinc.com as a result of people asking about how I shot my videos on my youtube channel (Frank Abyss).
About 2 years ago, I tried to lower my POV cameras into water with a fishing rod/reel or a rope and quickly discovered that the camera would spin. So I set out to design a stabilizing system that would make the camera track straight underwater, taking a predictable path. I went through a dozen of designs, modifying this and that, and tested several materials. What you see here is the culmination of this extensive testing.
The second item is a specialized underwater housing for GoPro type cameras. I wanted to go far beyond the limited depth of the original OEM case (only 200ft). Once again, I tested several designs and materials and finally arrived at this current version.
