This is a power supply that provides up to 3A 3.3V and 300mA -3.3V. It utilizes the TSU6721YFPR to detect and negotiate USB based charging. The TPS62086 switched mode power supply(SMPS) provides 3A of 3.3A and the LMR70503TM/NOPB SMPS provides 300mA of -3.3V. The USB VBUS power or supplied VBAT is routed through the SMPS by a TPS2115ADRBRG4. An optional (not included as they are hard to get anymore) MAX3353EEBP-T can be utilized to negotiate USB (On-The-Go)OTG absent an OTG compatible charger like our Qi/USB Charger Flex Module.
Fyber Labs needed a powerful power supply to drive our wearable lighting and audio outputs. We also required a negative rail to power some of our sensors such as the EPIC Sensors. This most recent design supports both receiving and transmitting power over the USB OTG protocol.
It is one of the few fully BCD 1.2 compatible with OTG detection USB power supplies, rarer is the negative rail, and rarer still OTG capability.
