I have been waiting for this item to come back in stock for some time now and would like to know when it will become available? "USB Tester OLED Backpack Bundle" Been waiting since September. Thank you!

I actually just received more USB Tester PCBs today so it should just be a day or two. There will be 10 available at first and more soon. After the 2nd batch there shouldn't be stock issues anymore.
Thanks for waiting!

Will it let you measure the voltage or current of high power devices - (specifically) like Apple iPad - i.e. it does interfere with the communication / only allow charging at 500ma or will it still allow and allow measurement of iDevices?

Yes, you can measure up to 3.2A which more than the iPad. This pretty much covers any USB device. The data lines are passed through untouched.
There are a few people already that have used iDevices and other smartphones.
A very fine instrument to be added to the tool-chain of anyone dealing with USB devices and connections. The integration of the microProcessor board and the high quality OLED display is exceptional and shows the way for similar projects. The only problem I can see is that you will be tempted to integrate it in a project permanently and then you'll have to buy another one...

Great product. Just wish it could handle VBUS voltages above 5V for the new USB Power Delivery specification and Qualcomm QC2.0

It does what it should do. It works right out of the box.
My purpose was to see/control the charging current to our iPhone and iPad devices. Wich not always seemed to work properly with the lightning cables.
I would like to see that there was possibility to download a more specific user manual (what, for example. the connectors and jumpers in the middle of the board are for?)
