This is version 2.1 of my LoRaLem RN2483 board. This version is a much improved version of the previous (red) version.
I've developed a board to easily get started with LoRaWAN, for instance with "the things network". Just solder on a RN2483 and a arduino pro mini (3.3v 8Mhz) and you're good to go.

To get started with this board, at a minimum you will need the following parts:
With these parts you can get started, powering the circuit by the FTDI module. If you want to rake it to the next step, you will need a TP4056 connector to power the circuit through that. The TP4056 will give you the possibility to charge the battery, while it's online and will protect your lipo from over/under charging.
Attached is a source code sample that will work on a board with GPS and SI7021 sensors. It will send temperature, humidity and coordinates via "the things network
