EasyPoint™ is a mini-joystick which consists of of a mechanical stack incorporating a navigation knob with a magnet and a twodimensional Magnetic Position Sensor Hall IC.
The N40P107 mechanical module with push button is soldered on top and the two-dimensional linear position sensor IC AS5013 is soldered on the bottom side of the PCB, and provides the X and Y coordinates of the magnet incorporated in the knob directly via I2C output with a resolution of 8 bit for each axis. A mechanical push button (dome switch) used as "select" function is implemented already.
It's a very small joystick you can use for your application, the PCB measure only 0.7x0.56inch (18x14mm)
