CognIoT continues the theme of offering a great OOB (out of box) experiences for Pi based RFID readers. Just plug the NFC reader into your Pi and it will be reading tags even before you have run any software on the Pi. Add software (example code provided) to turn your Pi unto a powerful NFC reader and interact with tags or NFC enabled phones.
The Pi sends high level commands to the reader making it quick and simple to build your NFC application. Sample commands are Read UID, Card Status, Read/Write blocks and Type Identification.
The NFC reader from CognIoT supports the most common NFC format often referred to as NFC type 2, Ultralight, MiFare or NTGA2. These are based on the ISO14443A standard that operates at 13.56MHz.

Optional Beep signal available to provide audible feedback of a read/write.
