The Touchy is a small module made to turn your projects on at the press of a button and off at an additional press of the button.
Besides powering a circuit, the Touchy can be used as a button for user input or latched digital input. The Touchy can be supplied with a voltage to match the logic level of your circuitry. 3.3V and 5V work with the touchy, and the Touchy output will provide either a debounced low (0V) logic level or a high (3.3/5V) logic level.
The Touchy fits nicely into a solderless breadboard. It can be connected to the solderless breadboard in a few different ways, but some of them aren't good ways. Avoid shorting the TOUCHY output. It won't destroy the world or ruin your life, but connecting it wrong will ruin the Touchy. And that will make everyone sad. See the photos.

The Touchy uses very advanced touchnology.
The Touchy button's button is available in color. Colors for the button can be black, white, red, blue, green, yellow, or orange. The button color depends on which part of the rainbow is shining into the CircuitGizmos windows when the Touchy is lovingly assembled. We are magical in that way.
Actually the color you get is just random. Sorry if your favorite color isn't on your Touchy.
If you have a “37 Sensors” kit, you might realize that some of these sensors are not sensors, but things that you can turn off and on. Lucky you! Here are some of the sensors that you can turn on and, of course, turn off (if you so decide) using Touchy.

Every Touchy is 100% tested. In our production facility, the Touchy is attached to power and to an LED to indicate state. The button is pushed to turn it on. Then, after careful verification that the Light Emitting Diode is indeed Emitting Light, the button is pushed to turn the Touchy off. Sometimes, in the heat of the production tester's excitement, the button is pushed a few more times. No charge for this extra testing.
If the Touchy is off and it is supposed to be on press the button. Conversely if the Touchy is on and it is supposed to be off, fixing this is as easy as, you guessed it, pressing the button.
