The sun is awesome, and so is solar electric power generation. Unforately for solar panels, the sun moves. To counter this you can make a tracker that follows the sun and allows for even greater energy production. With this kit you can create your very own computer controlled dual axis solar tracker in under and hour, using only a screw driver and a computer.
This kit includes two micro servos, four sensors, an Arduino Uno, custom laser cut wood, a custom made Arduino shield, a LDR Sensor Board, and a whole lot of screws. By popular request we designed this project to be non soldering, and all you'll need are some screw drivers.
New to our 2.0 Version is a custom made Arduino Shield and Sensor holder. These two marks make wiring up the project easy, just plug the provided ribbon cables in and start tracking.
Comes with a very handy 6V Solar Cell and Volt Meter to gather solar data for use in projects and experiments.
