This breakout module is based on Winbond's W25X20CL Serial Flash Memory chip and comes with 2Mbits of non-volatile memory storage. There are 1024 programmable pages of 256 bytes/page. It has very low power consumption ratings, 1mA during active mode and 1uA for power down. It communicates via the standard SPI protocol and supports up to 104MHz!
We were working on a wearable product for one of our clients and got these made for our initial testing. It is super easy to test and evaluate. With a build-in decoupling capacitor, you can just plug-and-play after wiring it on the breadboard!
This module is ideal for applications that needs to download code, or for storing voice, text and data in your IoT DIY projects!
