The National Semiconductor LM2596S-ADJ is a TO-263 that has been put into a ready-to-use module for quick testing and development in your projects! It has a wide input voltage range and can provide up to 3A of continuous current! Just plug in your input voltage source and you will get a nice steady output voltage that is easily adjustable with with an on-board trimmer potentiometer.
*Note this is only a step-down (buck) regulator.
