the board is equipped with USB, so no external power supply is required. Using jumper socket it is possible to choose 5V 3.3V or external supply.
From USB there are derived data lines D+, D- and ID to the strip header, so the adapter can also be used for connecting directly USB to your board. To protect the USB against shorting, a fast fuse was placed on the USB power line.
The board is equipped with a reset button, so you do not need to disconnect power to reset the target chip.
The adapter is designed to match the ATMEL-ICE-PCBA board, just put the adapter on the board with spacer.
I was looking for an adapter on the market with a set of connectors for SAM microcontrollers, but none of the adapters satisfied me, so I created my own adapter for professional use.
It is the alternative to the original Atmel adapter for professional use. Can be use to supply developed board using USB, reseting target chip via RESET button. The adapter is good quality, produced in the EU.
