This is a pen plotter controller that uses the ESP32 microcontroller and TMC2130 stepper motors drivers. The ESP32 runs Grbl_ESP32 which allows you to run your machine wirelessly from your phone or PC via Bluetooth or Wifi. You can also stream via USB or micro SD card. The TMC2130 stepper drivers run your stepper motors super quietly and you can completely configure them via software (no more pots and jumpers).
The board is supplied with the SMD parts soldered and tested. You have to solder the connectors and supply the ESP32 and (2) motor drivers. You can only use TMC2130 motor drivers on this controller. Other drivers, such as the Allegro A4988 and TI DRV8825 will not work.
Pen plotters are super cool and they deserve a powerful, yet super quiet controller. Profits are used to support Grbl_ESP32 development.
It has the following features.
The project is open source and well documented. Feel free to make your own.
