Attiny Fuse Reset + Programmer or shortly AFR+P v1.00 is an Arduino Nano based device made to assist in programming Attiny/Atmega microcontrollers.
I needed to reset fuses of an attiny and after lots of research and several failures, I came up to the work of Mr Peter Fleury (http://homepage.hispeed.ch/peterfleury/avr-hvsp-fuse-restore.html) who offered a very simple hardware solution based on an Atmega8A microcontroller to automate the process of resetting the fuses of an Attiny using "high voltage", in this case, 12V. This became AFRS a shield to help with resetting the attiny's fuses... I then wanted to take this one step further. So i made AFR+P a device based around an Arduino Nano which can now reset attiny fuses and also program attiny and atmega chips.
-No need for a separate 12V power supply -Press a button, and your Attiny is reset in a second! -No loose cables, no breadboards and easy to use -Can be used as a stand-alone device -Flip a switch and reset the Nano (New code available, you now dont need to reset the nano to change mode), it changes function and will program your now saved attiny or your atmega chips.
AFR+P Comes without an Arduino Nano, you got to supply and program that one yourself. This way you don't need to buy another if you already have one or you can order a cheap Chinese one for around 2$ saving money
