This is a Winsen MH-Z19B CO2 sensor with a micro-usb interface to allow simple cable connection to any USB port. Measurement range is 0-2000ppm, with a custom serialized Micro-USB board.
These sensors were intended for use with Mycodo and other environmental monitor projects. Current versions of Mycodo have the ABC (Automatic Baseline Calibration) function that should be used occasionally to correct for drift.
The USB interface helps overcome the serial port limitations of the raspberry pi and allows longer cables without errors in data transmission.
